About Joyce Rancani

EncapCyber is a women- and Latina-owned organization led by Joyce Rancani, a recognized Global and Enterprise Cybersecurity Expert. Mrs. Rancani brings more than three decades of expertise in designing, testing, and delivering comprehensive cybersecurity integration solutions across sectors such as the Department of Defense supporting the Coast Guard and Navy (Lockheed Martin and L-3 Harris), Telecommunications and Mobile (Comcast), and Healthcare and Pharmacy (CVS Health).  

EncapCyber delivers unified, zero trust security solutions by aligning strategy, technology, and personnel to safeguard assets and facilitate large-scale innovation.  Most recently, Mrs. Rancani led the redesign of secure development lifecycle transitioning from DevSecOps to DevSecMLAIOps to integrate an intelligent AI agent for policy-as-code, predictive, and continuous security compliance monitoring that provides outcome-driven security that supports mission-critical resilience.

Past Performance

Mrs. Rancani has Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from Drexel University and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Privacy Law from Drexel University Kline School of Law.  She also has a Privacy Engineering certification from Carnegie Mellon University

Mrs. Rancani serves as a Board member on the Society of Information Managers – Central Florida (SIM-CFL) and AFCEA Orlando.  Joyce is also a member of Women in Defense, Latinos in Tech, Women in Tech and Latinas in Tech.
